Attire influences the impression about a person.
One of the differences between man and animal is clothing.
Attire is an important part of a civilized man.
Cloth is not meant to expose your body but to cover it.
Islam insists men
to cover their body from belly button till knee and women to cover their body
from tip to toe.

1. Rig Veda says
about Hijab in the following way:
(Refer-verse 19)

2. When Purushuram comes, Rama tells his wife Sita that "He is our elder, please lower your gaze, and put on the veil."
(Maha veera
chritra Act 2 page on 71)
Hijab in Christianity:
1. "For if a woman who does not cover her head, she might as well have her hair cut off; but if it is a disgrace for a woman to have her hair cut off or her head shaved, then she should cover her head.
(Verse 5-9)
2. Thou shall not commit adultery, But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
Hijab in Islam:
Islam says both men and women to lower their gaze.
24:30- [O Prophet]! Tell the believing men to lower their gaze and guard their chastity. That is purer for them. Surely Allah is all-aware of what they do.
24:31- And tell
the believing women to lower their gaze and
Islam forbids two adult woman and men who are strangers to spend time in private. A Muslim woman is advised to go out with one of Four men [Father, son, husband, brother].
No one has the
rights to interfere with the preference of wearing Hijab. Hijab is dignity
and reputation.
Islam is reputed religion. Islam dignifies who follow it's path. The wise will think.
